Based in New Orleans, Louisiana, our company House Plan Trends was founded by James G. Chauvin. James is a registered architect who has also been a builder. He is a member of the National Homebuilders Association and NCARB Certified.

We at House Plan Trends have sought to design homes with features such as parapet walls, large porches with ceiling fans, and high ceilings.

While the exterior of our homes reflects a simpler time gone by, the interior promotes a lifestyle of comfort and vision for future generations. For example, spacious open floor plans connecting the great room, kitchen and breakfast room minimize halls and provide large spaces for entertaining. While these characteristics prevail in each of our homes, we provide one with a variety of options as well.
